iHeartRadio Brings Live Radio, Custom Stations, Cortana Integration and Instant Access to Music and Entertainment Directly To Windows 10 Users
New York, New York - August 31, 2015 - iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia’s all-in-one streaming music and live digital radio service, today announced its new Windows 10 app is now available in the Windows Store. iHeartRadio for Windows 10 will include its signature, customizable listening features known to iHeartRadio’s audience of more than 70 million registered users as well as new innovations optimized exclusively for Microsoft Corp.’s most personal, productive and secure operating system yet.
With this new integration, iHeartRadio continues its focus to be everywhere its listeners are with the products and services they expect, offering users instantaneous access to their favorite live radio stations, artists, songs and entertainment in a way that is custom developed for Windows 10. New features exclusive to Windows 10 include Cortana voice-activated search integration, Live Tiles, and easy music downloading for Groove Music Pass subscribers. Additionally, this new integration will offer Windows 10 users access to the full suite of iHeartRadio features including the ability to:
Create Custom Stations - listeners can choose a favorite song or artist and iHeartRadio will create a station from its library of more than 20 million songs and 800,000 artists. Users can also fine-tune their stations with the thumb up/down and skip song buttons.
Listen to the best of Live Radio - Windows 10 users will have instant access to thousands of live radio stations from across the country covering Pop, Country, Hip-Hop, R&B, Alternative, Rock, Talk, News, Sports and Comedy.
Browse personalized “For You” station recommendations, quickly play saved "Favorites" and listen to hand-curated stations “Perfect For” any mood or activity.

Since Windows 10 launched, the Windows Store has seen a higher demand for the iHeartRadio app with more than four times the downloads for users of Windows 10 operating system as compared to users of Windows 8.
