WHAT: iHeartMedia, the No. 1 podcast publisher globally according to Podtrac, has partnered with Aliza Rosen’s AYR Media to launch “The Murder Years,” a new scripted drama series inspired by true events.
In the eight-part series, hosted by actress Gabrielle Carteris (playing the role of “Nancy Clark”), a woman reinvestigates the murders that defined her high school years in the 1980s. Some claimed these killings were a streak of bad luck, while others said they were tied to an ancient curse. Forty years later, as the students who lived through these terrifying years revisit their past—the music, the clothes, the gossip, the murders—it seems the “curse” might be returning to this sleepy town via a new round of unexplainable, bizarre and violent deaths.
WHEN: The first episode of “The Murder Years” premieres today with new episodes every Thursday. “The Murder Years” is distributed by iHeartPodcasts.
WHERE: Listen to “The Murder Years” on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard.
