iHeartMedia Names Brendon DelToro Vice President For Political Strategy
DelToro Will Manage iHeartMedia’s High-Level Relationships with Conservative Candidates and Political Organizations
NEW YORK, N.Y. – February 16, 2016 – iHeartMedia announced today that Brendon DelToro has been named Vice President, Political Strategy for its Washington, D.C.-based Political and Advocacy team, effective immediately. He will report to Kenny Day, Senior Vice President, Political Sales and Strategy.
In his new role, DelToro will manage iHeartMedia’s high-level relationships with conservative candidates, parties, Independent Expenditures, Super PACs and other political organizations. He will also work closely with Adam Weiss, the company’s Vice President, Political Strategy for progressive candidates and organizations, to help run the centralized iHeartMedia Campaign 2016 Command Center (aka “War Room”), which will track more than 2,000 national, statewide and local elections across more than 150 markets. In addition, DelToro will support the political sales team across iHeartMedia’s 150 markets on how to leverage the unparalleled reach and power of iHeartMedia, which includes more than 850 broadcast radio stations reaching more than a quarter billion consumers monthly; iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia’s free leading all-in-one digital music and streaming radio service with more than 80 million registered users and 850 million app downloads; more than 80 million social media followers across the iHeartMedia network; and nationally-recognized marquee live events.

DelToro joins iHeartMedia with extensive experience in electoral politics and on Capitol Hill, most recently as Campaign Manager for Marlin Stutzman’s campaign for U.S. Senate in Indiana. Prior to joining the Stutzman campaign, he worked for Indiana Congresswoman Jackie Walorski, where he oversaw both official and political operations as her Chief of Staff and spearheaded the Congresswoman’s election and re-election campaigns as her Campaign Manager. DelToro also previously worked as Deputy Campaign Manager for Governor Jack Dalrymple in North Dakota, where his responsibilities included managing the Governor’s primary convention campaign for the nomination. His background also includes managing campaigns in New Jersey, running field operations for the North Dakota Republican Party, and working on the staff of Governor Sonny Perdue in Georgia. DelToro is a graduate of Georgia Southern University.
