NEW YORK, N.Y. – June 17 – iHeartMedia celebrated new music and artists this week by naming Atozzio as its ‘On The Verge’ Hip-Hop artist with his latest single “Feeling Better.” The song will be highlighted across iHeartRadio’s Hip-Hop stations through the end of July. iHeartMedia’s ‘On The Verge’ program helps build awareness for up-and-coming artists through its radio airplay reach and historically, all ‘On The Verge’ artists have charted in the top 30, with more than half landing in the top 10, and over a third claiming the No. 1 chart slot. Success stories of ‘On The Verge’ Hip-Hop artists who have reached the top 20 include Lil Tjay ft. 6LACK, Shenseea, Kendra Jae and Coi Leray.
Several big names debuted new music with World Premieres across iHeartRadio stations, including Diddy ft. Bryson Tiller’s “Gotta Move On” on June 17 on all Hip-Hop, Rhythmic CHR and R&B stations; and Luke Combs’ “The Kind of Love We Make” on June 17 on all Mainstream Country stations. Additionally, the Black Eyed Peas’ latest collaboration with Shakira & David Guetta, “Don’t You Worry,” is featured on iHeartRadio’s “New Music Friday” slots across iHeartRadio’s CHR stations on June 17.
Earlier this week, P&G and iHeartMedia’s “Can’t Cancel Pride 2022: Proud AND Together,” a fundraiser for the LGBTQ+ community celebrating visibility and inclusivity for all, celebrated its third annual event with today’s biggest names in culture and entertainment including performances from Katy Perry, Sam Smith, Lizzo, Anitta, Dove Cameron, Betty Who and Kim Petras. Elton John was honored with the first-ever Impact Award for his humanitarian work through the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The event will be available on demand throughout Pride Month until June 30 via iHeartRadio’s YouTube, Facebook, The CW App and CWTV.com and Revry. In addition to music, the benefit, hosted by JoJo Siwa, included special appearances from Amy Schneider, Big Freedia, Billy Porter, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Eugene Lee Yang, Hayley Kiyoko, Jari Jones, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Liv Hewson, Manila Luzon, Michael Cimino, Rueby Wood and more.
