The United States has won the tournament four times—1991, 2002, 2005 and 2007. The team is led by midfielder Landon Donovan, forward Clint Dempsey, midfielder Michael Bradley, and goalkeeper Tim Howard. The United States defeated Panama 1-0 Wednesday night to advance to the final, while Mexico earned their spot in the final by defeating Honduras 2-0 in extra time.
