Dennis Lamme Named Market President for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Washington, D.C./Baltimore
Washington, D.C./Baltimore – December 20, 2012 – Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Washington, D.C./Baltimore today announced that Dennis Lamme has been named Market President, effective immediately. Lamme will report to Tom Schurr, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment’s President of Operations for its Major Markets.
Lamme has been with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment for more than 15 years and joins the market from Clear Channel Philadelphia, where he has served as President and Market Manager since February 2012. He also previously held senior market leadership positions within Clear Channel Media and Entertainment in the Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Albany markets. He began his career in St. Joseph, MO, where his radio career started more than 30 years ago and since then he has held various radio management positions in California, Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, New York and Nevada. Lamme has been recognized in the “Who’s Who in Advertising” and actively served on the Board of Directors for the New York, Missouri and Pennsylvania State Broadcast Associations.
As Market President, Lamme will be responsible for all aspects of the Washington, D.C./Baltimore market’s operations including all strategies, programming and sales initiatives. He will leverage Clear Channel’s assets including its brands and audience to create new revenue opportunities. Lamme will also oversee all station activities and events, such as the recent Hot 99 FM’s Jingle Ball, to help drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
