New York, NY – April 24, 2012 – Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, the leading media company in America with a greater reach than any other radio or television outlet, today announced a partnership with Sony Nashville to launch Carrie Underwood’s fourth album, Blown Away, set to release May 1.  Beginning April 24, Clear Channel will launch a two-week-long on-air and online Artist Integration Program designed to leverage Clear Channel’s powerful properties and audiences to introduce Blown Away to listeners and fans. The multi-platform promotion will also feature a special performance by Underwood for iHeartRadio Live, a Clear Channel entertainment production at the iHeartRadio Theater presented by P.C. We're thrilled to partner with Sony Nashville on her album release, utilizing our multi-platform capabilities to create an event around the release and bring our audiences that much closer to her music,” said Tom Poleman, President of Clear Channel National Programming Platforms.  “The Artist Integration Program and iHeartRadio Live performance are a perfect complement to one another, combining the power of our audience reach across our radio network and digital platforms.”
