Clear Channel Media And Entertainment Names Hartley Adkins Executive Vice President Of Operations For Its Mid-Major Markets

John Rohm Takes on New Role as Senior Vice President of Operations for the Southeast Market
 
New York, NY– January 19, 2012 – Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, the leading media company in America with a greater reach in the U.S. than any other radio or television outlet, announced today that Hartley Adkins has been named Executive Vice President of Operations for its Mid-Major markets and John Rohm will take on the role as Senior Vice President of Operations overseeing the Southeast market.  Both positions are effective immediately and will report directly to John Hogan, President and CEO of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.
 
Adkins most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations for the Southeast market, overseeing the operation of 36 Clear Channel markets in his region.  He has been dedicated to the radio broadcasting industry for more than 20 years and in which he has served in a variety of capacities; he also was previously Market Manager for Clear Channel’s Washington, D.C. and Baltimore markets.   Adkins is also on the board of several philanthropic organizations, including the Greater Washington Sports Alliance, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, Matt Birk’s HIKE Foundation and the USO Metro Board.
 
John Rohm, former Philadelphia Market Manager, will take on the role as Senior Vice President of Operations overseeing the Southeast market.  Rohm is a radio veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the industry and previously served as Market Manager in the Pittsburgh and Cincinnati markets.  He has been with Clear Channel since 1996 overseeing his respective markets operations including sales approaches, programming, personnel development and corporate initiatives.  Rohm has also served on the boards of a number of philanthropic organizations including Make-A-Wish, Tickets for Kids and Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board.

Hardin and Zellner will work closely with their respective markets and local programmers to develop and implement programming strategies.
