Clear Channel Expands Pam McKay’s Role To Market Manager San Antonio

San Antonio – May 24, 2011 – Clear Channel Radio announced today that Pam McKay has been named Market Manager for San Antonio, effective immediately. McKay is currently the Market Manager for Clear Channel Radio Austin and will expand her role to the San Antonio market.

“Pam McKay’s track record with Clear Channel is one of the consistent achievements that has propelled her rise through the ranks of our company,” said Susan Karis, Clear Channel’s Executive Vice President Operations Western Region. “Pam is a proven leader, so to have her expand her role to oversee both the San Antonio and Austin market teams is a natural move.”

McKay has been in the radio business for 20 years and previously served as General Sales Manager for KHMX Houston. She has been the Market Manager in Austin for the past five years, where she currently oversees a staff of 150 and is responsible for five Clear Channel Radio properties’ total operations. McKay also has served on several Clear Channel advisory boards to help to develop the current software system used by the sales department. Her strong performance and high level of achievement in Austin has led her to a larger role within Clear Channel Radio.

“Becoming Market Manager in San Antonio is a great opportunity to expand my profile with Clear Channel Radio,” said McKay. “It will be an honor to work with such strong teams in San Antonio while continuing my role as Market Manager in Austin and leading both clusters to continued success.”
